Job summary

ANAQUA is seeking a proactive Docketing expert with patent knowledge to support our growing IP management operations in India. The role focuses on docketing for US and non-US jurisdictions, maintaining accurate bibliographic data, and generating timely reminders for paralegals and attorneys.

You will work with IPMS to upload documents, verify data accuracy, and perform internal quality audits. Prior experience with Anaqua or Pattsy Wave is a plus, and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in patent docketing or related IP roles.
• Familiarity with filing and prosecution in USPTO and other major jurisdictions.
• Experience with Anaqua/Pattsy Wave is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patent docketing for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Track and update docket deadlines in IPMS, upload and link documents.
• Update bibliographic information and generate reminders for teams.
• Extract key information from client data and input into IPMS accurately.
• Conduct quality audits on documents as per client requirements.
• Oversee internal patent quality audits for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Review patent prosecution documents received via shared mail per SOP.
• Process work according to client instructions and work instructions.
• Report docketing queries to the manager or client when needed.

Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Docketing expert with Patent knowledge who is eager to help us to attain our continuing growth goals.

• Responsible for all aspects of Patent docketing for both US and Non-US jurisdiction
• Docket & De-Docket deadlines in IPMS along with uploading & linking of relevant documents in the respective matter
• Ensuring correct bibliographic information is updated, generating correct reminders so that the paralegals/attorneys are timely informed about actions due
• Identify key information in the client provided data; as per client’s instructions, enter it in the IPMS correctly
• Perform Quality Audits on the allocated documents as per client requirements within the allocated time
• Responsible for all aspects of Patent internal quality audit for US and Non-US Jurisdictions
• Review patent prosecution related documents (US & Non-US) received via shared mailbox as per the standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Process allocated work as per client requirements and as per work instructions
• Report and describe docketing related queries to manager or client (if needed)

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in the related role
• Knowledge of filing and prosecution practices in the USPTO, PCT, EP, JP, CN and other major jurisdictions
• Prior experience of working on Anaqua/Pattsy Wave platform would be an added advantage
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to perform role smoothly without missing deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
