Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer in Maharashtra, India, to own end‑to‑end PCB design from concept through manufacturing release. You will work with Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer on high‑power, multi‑layer boards for embedded systems, coordinating with schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust SI/PI and IPC compliance.

Qualifications

• Must-have: End-to-End PCB design capability across concept to release.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer for multi‑layer power electronics boards.
• Experience with impedance control, signal/power integrity, and DFM/DFT considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑power and high‑density PCB layout using Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer.
• Handle multi‑layer PCB designs for power electronics, control boards, and embedded systems.
• Component placement, routing, stack‑up definition, and constraint‑driven design.
• Define electrical constraints, impedance control, and differential pair routing.
• Apply SI/PI best practices; ensure IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC Class 2/3 compliance.
• DFM, DFA, and DFT analysis; conduct design reviews and validation.
• Generate/validate Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581 outputs; prepare fabrication/assembly drawings.
