Job summary

Soga Design Studio in Gurugram seeks a skilled Computational Designer to develop parametric and computational design solutions for architectural, façade, and design projects, using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper.

You will translate concepts into fabrication-ready 3D models and technical documentation, ensure constructability and tolerances, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver innovative design solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Rhino 3D and Grasshopper for parametric design workflows.
• Strong knowledge of architectural geometry and digital fabrication processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD drafting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop parametric and computational design solutions using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper for architectural, façade, and design projects.
• Create, modify, and optimize complex geometries, façade systems, and design components through parametric workflows.
• Translate conceptual designs into fabrication-ready 3D models and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs consider material properties, fabrication methods, constructability, and production tolerances.
• Support the design team in developing innovative architectural, product, and installation concepts.
• Research and implement new computational design tools, plugins, and digital fabrication techniques.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project stakeholders to deliver creative design solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Participate in iterative design development, prototyping, and performance optimization of design systems.
