Atlas Copco India Private Ltd is seeking an IP Administrator/Paralegal for the Pune location to support in-house IP attorneys and analysts. The role focuses on docketing, IP filings, and coordinating across global teams.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of IP admin experience, familiarity with European and US patent/trademark practice, and proficiency in MS Office. Indian jurisdiction filings and PCT knowledge are a plus.

• 1-3 years of IP Administrator/Paralegal experience in corporate, law firm, or IP agency.
• Knowledge of European and US Patent & Trademark practice.
• Knowledge of IP filings and prosecution in Indian jurisdiction; PCT is a plus.
• Excellent command of MS Office tools.
• Experience with IP admin tools, preferably Equinox.

The Intellectual Property Team of Atlas Copco India Private Ltd is responsible for the protection of different aspects of Intellectual Property of the business areas Compressor Technique, Power Technique, Vacuum Technique and Industrial Technique and the divisions making part thereof with their subsidiaries/Product Companies across the world. Atlas Copco India Private Ltd is looking for an eligible candidate for the profile of IP Administrator/Paralegal for Pune Location.

The IP Administrator/Paralegal will function as a part of the IP team in Atlas Copco India Private Ltd. He/She would help in-house IP attorneys and IP analysts by providing support in various administrative matters related to IP such as maintaining our docketing system, handling various legal formalities, documentation related to patent and trademark offices and coordinating with inventors as well as attorneys to manage existing as well as new IP tasks on time with great efficiency. We are looking for a confident team-player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, who can effectively manage various IP administrative tasks and responsibilities to prioritize workflow in order to meet strict deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Processing of the invoices received from the attorneys of various jurisdictions related to IP matters.
• Monitoring the deadlines for annuity payments, communication with the attorneys for further maintenance of the patents across multiple jurisdictions.
• Administrative support for implementing and maintaining a docketing system for data entry and deadline tracking in IP prosecution for the different divisions of Atlas Copco.
• Handling various tasks related to patent filings and patent prosecution such as paying official fees, filing required forms at the Indian Patent Office etc.
• Effective coordination with IP attorneys based in Europe, USA, UK and India for IP filing and other administrative activities.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in an IP Administrator/Paralegal role either in corporate, law firm or IP agency.
• Knowledge in European and US Patent & Trademark practice.
• Knowledge in IP filings and prosecution for Indian Jurisdiction also PCT is Plus.
• Excellent command on MS Office tools.
• Experience in IP admin tools is a must, preferably Equinox.

Educational requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Additional qualifications or certification related to Intellectual Property is an added advantage.
