Job summary

Sone India is seeking an ITI-qualified electrical wiring technician to join our team on site in India. You will wire PLC and MCC panels, read schematics, and terminate field cables and control wiring with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of panel wiring, junction boxes, and electrical components such as relays and terminal blocks.

Qualifications

• ITI holder with knowledge of panel wiring.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC panel wiring as per electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Carry out junction box wiring and termination of field cables and control wiring.
• Perform MCC panel wiring and electrical control panel assembly.
• Install and terminate PLC modules, relays, contactors, terminal blocks, switches, and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel drawings.
• Ensure proper cable routing, ferruling, crimping, termination, and labeling.
• Perform continuity checks and basic testing of panel wiring.
• Identify and rectify wiring errors, loose connections, and electrical faults.
