Job summary

Sigma Allied Services in India (Pune & Bangalore) seeks an experienced networking leader to own enterprise-grade Palo Alto deployments. The role requires hands-on firewall, BGP/OSPF, and VPN expertise with strong customer-facing leadership to manage incidents and drive security standards.

The role is a hands-on, six-month contract in a hybrid setup with on-site work and potential extension. Flexibility for night shifts and rotation is required to ensure production systems stay online.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of networking experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Palo Alto experience.
• Lead/Architect level exposure with ownership of architecture and standards.
• Strong Cisco networking background.
• Advanced BGP, OSPF, VPN, firewall, and network security expertise.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• Customer-facing leadership and incident management experience.
• Automation knowledge (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Preferred certifications: PCNSE, PCNSC, CCNP/CCIE.

Job description

Duration of Contract: 6 months initially with scope for extension

Work Locations: Bangalore & Pune

Work Model: Hybrid

• Mandatory 3 days in a week from office
• Minimum 6 hours per day in office

Shift Timings: Candidates must be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts. These are hands-on role where on-call availability or out-of-hours work will be needed to ensure mission-critical production systems stay on track.
