Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Packaging- Technical Trainee - Slitting to train in operating packaging equipment and support setup for new product lines. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, tooling changes, and accurate record-keeping within a structured training program.

Ideal candidates have an ITI in fitter, mechanical, or electrical fields and are eager to develop machine operation, programming understanding, and process adjustments in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks.
Receive regular training as and when agreed in a training programme, to understand and learn to operate.
To assist with and learn programming and set up machine equipment to complete new product/new and different functions.
To learn to adjust machine control, including part process.
To assist with and learn how to change the tooling.
Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate packaging machinery and perform routine setup tasks.
Assist with programming and machine setup for new products and formats.
Learn to adjust machine controls and tooling for different parts and processes.
Record and maintain accurate data, logs and documentation as required.
