Job summary

V.S. International Private Limited (VSI) is seeking a Packaging Development professional to drive regulatory compliant packaging material development, coordinate with plant packaging during trials, and manage artwork development for products.

You will oversee primary, secondary, tertiary packaging, supplier audits, vendor qualification, and documentation control while ensuring timely project delivery in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Regulated Market for Packaging Materials.
• Coordinating with plant packaging department for machine trials & troubleshooting on the packaging shop floor.
• Development of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Packaging and Ancillary materials.
• Finalising change parts for new and existing products with packaging dept.
• Assisting artwork development with regulatory compliance and packaging teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site packaging unit audits (printing and packaging industries).
• Perform vendor qualification of new or alternate vendors.
• Review and approve print proofs, first supply, and shade cards of packaging material.
• Maintain documentation and ensure master documents are updated and approved.

JD of Packaging Development :

• Knowledge of the RegulatedMarket for Packaging Materials.
• Coordinating and following up with plant packaging department for Machine Trials & troubleshooting of packaging shop floor activities for new products.
• Development of Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Packaging and Ancillary material like BOPP,
• Shipper, Inner, PIL’s, Cartons and Outer Cartons.
• To finalize and coordinate change parts for new products and existing products jointly with packaging department in the plant.
• Assisting in artwork development of products considering regulatory compliance, working
• closely with the regulatory and packaging department.
• Conduct on-site packaging unit’s audits i.e., printing & packaging industries such as offset or corrugated shipper, specification development along with QC and FRD and plant.
• To conduct vendor qualification of a new vendor or alternate vendor.
• Review and Approval of Print Proof, First Supply and Shade Cards of Packaging Material
• and maintenance in the documentation cell.
• Continuous dialogue with clients regarding new projects and artwork query.
• Uploading item codes, Barcode in ERP for commercial and registration artwork. 2D barcode finalization along with a plant in software.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Master documents review & approval with respect to Artworks.
• Follow up with supplier and receipt of material on schedule
• Preparation of All Packing Material Specification (Printed Carton, Foil, Leaflet, Shipper,
• Label etc.)
• Commercial Artwork and Checklist Review and Approval.
• Online Board Proof Approval.
• To conduct a vendor visit.
• Coordination with the purchase team and arranging dummy samples for machine trials.
• Initiation of Change Control.
• MIS of Packaging Development for monthly review for Management.
