Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications for loan processing and reconciliation workflows. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and lead developers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

The role emphasizes strong OutSystems hands-on work, API integrations, data modeling, and modern UI development in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of application development experience with strong hands-on OutSystems work.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade apps on the OutSystems platform.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, best practices, and software design principles.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and third-party integrations.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for relational databases.
• Experience building responsive UIs and modern web apps.
• Familiarity with loan processing, reconciliation or financial services domains is a plus.
• Proficient in debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain OutSystems applications supporting loan processing workflows.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions within OutSystems.

• Build data models, entities, relationships, and business logic.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain OutSystems applications supporting loan processing and reconciliation workflows.
• Convert user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement application components, modules, and business processes within the OutSystems platform.
• Build and maintain data models, entities, relationships, and business logic.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with financial systems and external applications.
• Create responsive and user-friendly UI screens, dashboards, and application components.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in application development with strong hands-on experience in OutSystems development.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, development best practices, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and third-party system integrations.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience developing responsive user interfaces and modern web applications.
• Knowledge of loan management, reconciliation processes, or financial services applications is preferred.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex application issues.
• Understanding of security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with version control systems, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
