Job summary

Nordex SE in Chennai is seeking a Logistics / Material Management professional to ensure timely material deliveries for wind energy projects. You will create purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and collaborate with Sourcing, Material Handling, Quality and Project teams to maintain delivery reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and hands-on experience in material planning or procurement, with SAP MM or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in material planning, procurement, vendor coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with SAP (MM or relevant modules) or other ERP systems.
• Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and structured working style.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and suppliers.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage several priorities in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material deliveries according to project schedules and system demands.

• Prepare reports and track KPIs related to delivery performance, supplier reliability, and material readiness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supplier coordination processes.

• Exposure to global supplier networks and logistics processes
• Knowledge of planning or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience working with wind projects or renewable energy supply chains (nice to have)
