Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an OS Linux specialist in Bangalore with 5–12 years of hands-on Linux administration across Red Hat, CentOS and Ubuntu. The role requires strong authentication/authorization, DNS/DHCP, data replication, ITIL/ITSM familiarity, and virtualization expertise.

Willingness to work 24/7 shifts is essential. In-person interview possible; the candidate should have solid scripting skills and exposure to blade servers and cloud concepts (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) to support IT

Qualifications

• Minimum L2 level experience in Linux administration and distros listed.
• Experience with authentication & authorization tools/access management, DNS, DHCP, and OS-based data replication.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM tools/processes, and cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and patching; experience with Blade servers and virtualization.
