You will build original Odia publications for governance, political, and cultural-heritage engagements: drafting from briefs, editing community contributors, and setting the voice readers in Odisha recognise as their own. The qualifications are simple to state and hard to fake — command of written Odia, an editor's patience, and English fluent enough to work from strategist briefs. What you will actually do:

• Draft original Odia editorial from strategist briefs — welfare-scheme explainers, state-policy commentary, heritage features — without the intermediation of machine translation
• Own the Odia style guide: spelling of the 2011-renamed vocabulary, numeral conventions, and when a Sambalpuri or Desia flourish serves the audience instead of standard register
• Edit contributing writers and community contributors, returning markup that teaches rather than merely corrects
