What you will actually do:

• Write the masthead's Polish signature pieces — longform columns, market essays, electoral-season commentary — composed in the language from the first syllable to the last
• Serve as standards editor: revise contributor manuscripts until the diacritics, declension endings, and honorific address all satisfy the style sheet, then initial the proof
• Arbitrate the formality ladder for each masthead — where Pan and Pani address earns its politeness, where the contemporary informal speaks truer to younger readers
