Job summary

Fusion Practices LTD is seeking an Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant to lead delivery of Oracle Cloud solutions across Inventory, Manufacturing, Demand Planning and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). The role is hands-on, client-facing and focuses on gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, and designing integrated supply chain solutions with configuration of SCM modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, finance and procurement.
• Design end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM solutions including Inventory, Manufacturing, Demand Planning and P2P.
• Configure Oracle Cloud SCM modules (Inventory, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement) and integrate with Oracle Financials for invoicing and payments.
• Coordinate with Oracle Financials consultants to ensure seamless integration across P2P cycle.
• Support cutover planning, go-live readiness and hypercare.

The Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant will lead the delivery of Oracle Cloud solutions covering Inventory, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). The role is hands-on and client-facing, focusing on gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, designing integrated supply chain solutions, and configuring Oracle Cloud SCM modules to deliver business value.

Requirements Capture and Workshop Facilitation

• Engage client stakeholders across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, finance, and procurement to identify process requirements and system objectives.
  
• Lead discovery workshops to capture business needs for inventory management, demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
  
• Elicit pain points, current-state process gaps, future-state goals, and key business rules, ensuring all relevant Oracle Cloud SCM processes are covered.
  
• Document business requirements and process flows, maintaining traceability and clarity for solution design.
  

Solution Design

• Map business requirements to Oracle Cloud SCM modules, aligning processes with standard Oracle functionality.
  
• Develop process flows, solution design documents, and configuration workbooks for Inventory, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement, and P2P.
  
• Design end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes, covering purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, goods receipt, invoice matching, and integration with Oracle Financials for invoice processing and payments.
  
• Identify and document configuration, data migration, and integration requirements, considering dependencies across SCM and Financials modules.
  
• Present solution options to business stakeholders and obtain sign-off on proposed Oracle Cloud designs.
  
• Work with technical consultants to support integrations, extensions, and reporting requirements.
  

Requirements

Oracle Cloud Configuration and Implementation

• Configure Oracle Inventory Cloud to manage item master data, inventory organisations, inventory transactions, replenishment, and lot/serial tracking.
  
• Configure Oracle Manufacturing Cloud for work definitions, work orders, resource management, and shop floor execution.
  
• Set up Oracle Demand Planning Cloud for forecasting, safety stock policies, and consensus demand processes.
  
• Configure Oracle Procurement Cloud, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, sourcing, and approval workflows.
  
• Implement and support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoice matching, and integration with Oracle Accounts Payable.
  
• Support supplier onboarding, supplier site setup, purchasing controls, and approval configurations relevant to the P2P cycle.
  
• Manage data migration for master and transactional data, including items, suppliers, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and demand plans.
  
• Conduct system and integration testing, resolve issues, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  

Stakeholder Management and Project Delivery

• Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and action logs to the project manager and stakeholders.
  
• Facilitate sign-off at each project phase, including requirements, solution design, configuration, and UAT.
  
• Coordinate with Oracle Financials consultants to ensure seamless integration between Procurement, Receiving, and Accounts Payable throughout the P2P cycle.
  
• Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare activities to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions.
