Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle RPAS applications across multiple retail modules

• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPAS enhancements and customizations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle RPAS Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS), PL/SQL, Java, and Unix Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate should possess hands‑on experience in Oracle Retail solutions, application support, and production maintenance, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience with AWS, CI/CD tools, and software configuration management will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle RPAS applications across multiple retail modules.


• Develop and optimize PL/SQL programs, Java components, and Unix Shell scripts.


• Perform application support, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production maintenance.


• Gather business requirements and prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.


• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle RPAS enhancements and customizations.


• Write and execute unit test cases to ensure application quality and reliability.


• Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure successful execution.


• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality retail solutions.


• Manage source code and deployments using version control and CI/CD tools.


• Work within Linux environments for application development and support.

Must‑Have Skills

• 4 6 years of IT experience with strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle RPAS.


• Extensive experience working across Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server modules.


• Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Java, and Unix Shell Scripting.


• Experience in application support, production support, and maintenance activities.


• Knowledge of job schedulers and workload automation tools.


• Strong understanding of the Retail domain and integration with enterprise applications.


• Experience with Software Configuration Management tools such as Git, SVN, Bitbucket, or TFS.


• Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, HLD, and LLD preparation.


• Hands‑on experience in writing and executing unit test cases.


• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.


• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• AWS Cloud knowledge.


• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
