Job summary

Frontend Arts is seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Developer to join our Hyderabad team. The role focuses on developing and supporting Oracle Retail RMS, ReIM, and RPM applications, with strong PL/SQL and Unix Shell scripting skills.

You will design, implement, test, and optimize solutions, collaborate with business and technical teams, and ensure high quality, scalable deployments across client implementations. Relevant RMS v14/v16 knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Oracle Retail development experience.
• Hands-on with RMS, ReIM and RPM, RMS v14/v16.
• Strong PL/SQL including packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
• Unix Shell scripting experience; Pro*C knowledge a plus.
• Retail implementation and support project exposure.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Client-focused approach and service delivery mindset.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), ReIM, RPM, and Oracle Retail implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience in Oracle Retail applications, strong PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting skills, and exposure to multiple Oracle Retail implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, review, and test code based on technical design documents.
• Prepare technical designs from functional requirements.
• Develop and support Oracle Retail applications including RMS, ReIM, and RPM.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, dynamic SQLs, materialized views, and collections.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts and support batch processing activities.
• Execute test scenarios, validate results, and document outcomes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues, batch failures, and production incidents.
• Maintain source code repositories and perform code check-ins as per development standards.
• Analyze long-running queries, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend tuning solutions.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of Oracle Retail application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with:Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) v14/v16
• Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM)
• Retail Price Management (RPM)
• Strong expertise in:Oracle PL/SQL
• Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers
• Dynamic SQL
• Materialized Views
• PL/SQL Collections
• Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
• Working knowledge of Pro*C.
• Experience in Oracle Retail implementation and support projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Client-focused approach and commitment to service delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Oracle Retail ecosystem and related modules.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ADF.
