Job summary

ShyftLabs is seeking an Engineer to enhance our Oracle Retail RMS (Merchandising system) with 75% focused on enhancements and 25% on production maintenance. The role emphasizes designing, developing, and testing RMS improvements to support our operations team.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of Oracle RMS experience and 3+ years in PL/SQL, SQL, Shell scripting, and Pro*C, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to deliver value for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Oracle Retail RMS experience required.
• 2–4 years of experience with Oracle RMS.
• 3+ years of hands-on development with PL/SQL, SQL, Shell scripting & Pro*C.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineer to enhance our Oracle Retail Applications RMS (Merchandising system). 75% of the time is spent on developing enhancements and customization (technical design, development, and testing); and 25% production application (maintenance, bug fixes, ticket resolution) to complete the operations team.

Job Responsibilities

• Owns functional area/feature(s) development/implementation, design, solution, arch., etc.

• Has system and business domain oversight (RMS).
• IDs, collects, and provide analysis of data and can match to user need.
• Conducts software and hardware requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, and software acceptance reviews for RMS solutions.
• Ensures objectives are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Ability to express written and verbal thoughts to others in the technical field.
