Job summary

Infosys Consulting invites an experienced MDM consultant to join our team in India to help clients navigate digital transformation. You will participate in problem definition, design and deployment, and explore data-driven solutions using Oracle Product Data Hub (MDM).

Roles include leading workshops, defining data models for product master data, and ensuring alignment with SCM processes and governance. Strong client-facing and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Oracle Product MDM and related platforms.
• 2+ years client-facing consulting in Product MDM.
• Experience formulating MDM strategy and implementing for medium to large orgs.
• Ability to drive workshops and propose data models for product master.

Responsibilities

• Aid consulting team through problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, and design.
• Develop requirements specs and to-be processes for MDM programs.
• Support configuration of solution requirements and assess root causes.
• Bridge gaps between SCM processes and MDM requirements; ensure governance alignment.
• Contribute to ongoing organizational initiatives with high-quality solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
• You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Technical Requirement

• At least 2 years of experience in working on Oracle Product MDM
• Specifically worked on formulating MDM strategy and implementing the same for medium to large organizations, that have implemented MDM
• Should be performing a client facing role for at least 2 years (consulting role in Product MDM)
• Comfortable in driving requirements workshops, proposing the right data model for product master
• Ability to leverage MDM best practices, experiences from past MDM projects especially in Product MDM area
• Assist in the overall MDM strategy and approach as it relates to ITEM & Bill of Materials Master Data Management
• Helping to bridge the gap between SCM system & process design to what Master Data Management requirements exist.
• Work closely with SCM track and feed what is needed to be done by the data management team (Governance & MDM). This is to ensure that both teams are moving forward together.
