Job summary

Rite in Hyderabad is seeking a versatile Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Discrete Manufacturing to drive greenfield deployments and AMS support. You will own solution architecture for new projects and enhancements while ensuring SLA compliance and continuous improvement for Oracle Cloud SCM.

Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end SCM streams, designing scalable solutions, conducting workshops, SIT/UAT, cutover planning, and management of L2/L3 support

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with 4+ years in Oracle Cloud SCM.
• Expertise in Oracle Cloud Discrete Manufacturing, Inventory, Quality, and Cost Management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end SCM cycles: Plan-to-Produce, P2P, and O2C.
• 3+ years leading a workstream or project team; mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills with stakeholding.
• ITIL knowledge and SLA-driven contracting experience.
• Hands-on with OTBI/BI Publisher, REST/SOAP integrations, and FBDI templates.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM implementation streams, upgrades, and module expansions focusing on Discrete Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing, and Quality.
• Own solution architecture and design decisions for new implementations and business enhancements, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise SCM strategy.
• Conduct business requirement workshops, gap-fit analyses, functional solution designs (FDDs), system configurations, and FBDI data migrations.
• Manage SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and go-live deployment across single or multi-site rollouts.
• Deliver L2/L3 functional support, resolving production incidents, service requests, and complex business queries within strict SLA guidelines.
• Log and manage Service Requests with Oracle Support for product defects and patch requests.
• Use ITIL-aligned tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) to track, report, and maintain ticket health metrics.
• Act as primary functional contact for plant managers, supply chain leads, and client executives; mentor junior staff.

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Discrete Manufacturing to drive both greenfield/rollout implementations and Application Managed Services (AMS) support. In this dual-capacity role, you will own solution architecture for new projects and business enhancements while ensuring L2/L3 operational stability, SLA compliance, and continuous improvement for existing Oracle Cloud SCM applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM implementation streams, upgrades, and module expansions focusing on Discrete Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing, and Quality.
• Own solution architecture and design decisions for new implementations and business enhancements, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise SCM strategy.
• Conduct business requirement workshops, gap-fit analyses, functional solution designs (FDDs), system configurations, and FBDI data migrations.
• Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go-live deployment across single or multi-site rollouts.

Support & Operational Excellence (AMS)

• Deliver L2/L3 functional support, resolving production incidents, service requests, and complex business queries within strict SLA guidelines.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring technical or operational failures and design long-term functional fixes or workarounds.
• Assess impact, conduct regression testing, and manage functional adjustments during Oracle's mandatory quarterly release updates.
• Log and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support for product defects and patch requests.
• Use ITIL-aligned tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) to track, report, and maintain ticket health metrics.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary functional point of contact for plant managers, supply chain leads, and client executives.
• Mentor junior functional analysts and offshore support engineers, balancing project delivery priorities against ongoing support workload.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with 4+ years of dedicated hands-on Oracle Cloud SCM experience spanning both project implementation and support environments.
• Core Modules: Expertise in Oracle Cloud Discrete Manufacturing (Work Definition, Work Execution), Inventory Management, Quality, and Cost Management.
• Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain cycles, including Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Leadership: 3+ years leading a workstream, project team, or support pod, with proven experience mentoring junior consultants.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with demonstrated experience advising plant/supply-chain leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Support Standards: Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Change, Problem Management) and experience managing SLA-driven client contracts.
• Oracle Upgrades: Hands-on experience analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting functional changes caused by Oracle Cloud quarterly updates.
• Technical Familiarity: Ability to collaborate with technical teams on OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, REST/SOAP integrations, and FBDI templates.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Oracle Cloud SCM (Manufacturing or Inventory) Implementation Certifications.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Maintenance, Supply Chain Planning, or Order Management.
• Historical expertise in Oracle EBS R12 (WIP, BOM, Costing).
