Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 finance techno-functional consultant in Bengaluru. The role combines functional finance knowledge with hands-on technical design, customization, and support of RICEW/CEMLI components.

You will collaborate with global finance users and IT teams to ensure stable financial operations, accurate reporting, and smooth system integration with SCM, Projects, and HRMS.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Oracle EBS R12 techno-functional experience with Finance focus.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Forms, OAF, and Workflow skills.
• Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM and cross-module finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Finance Module Expertise - configure, customize, and support GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
• RICEW/CEMLI development for Finance: reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows.
• Integrate Finance with SCM, Projects, and HRMS.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional/technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and resolve integration errors.
• Prepare design documents, conduct SIT/UAT, and support deployments.
• Collaborate with finance users, functional consultants, and IT teams globally.

Role Overview

The consultant will provide techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules, ensuring smooth financial operations, system stability, and alignment with business requirements. The role requires strong functional knowledge of Finance modules combined with hands-on technical skills to design, customize, and support RICEW/CEMLI components.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance Module Expertise - Configure, customize, and support modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
• RICEW/CEMLI Development - Design and support Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows specific to Finance.
• Integration Support - Ensure smooth integration of Finance modules with SCM, Projects, and HRMS.
• Business Requirement Analysis - Translate financial business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Issue Resolution - Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration errors.
• Documentation & Testing - Prepare functional/technical design documents, conduct SIT/UAT, and support deployments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with finance users, functional consultants, and IT teams across geographies.

Required Skills & Experience

6-8 years of Oracle EBS R12 techno-functional experience, with strong focus on Finance modules. Expertise in SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Forms, OAF, Workflow. Deep functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM. Strong understanding of financial processes and cross-module dependencies. Proven experience in RICEW/CEMLI development and support. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
