Job summary

First American (India) is seeking a Functional Consultant for Oracle Apps (EBS R12). You will translate business requirements into functional specs, evaluate and validate solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated Oracle modules including AR, Cash Management, and GL.

The role requires strong domain knowledge in accounting, AIM methodology, and experience with multi-org setups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as functional consultant in global Oracle ERP implementations.
• Experience in implementation & maintenance of Oracle modules.
• Strong experience in functional designing including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and testing.
• Deep understanding of accounting concepts and Oracle Financials architecture (multi-org, SLA).
• Knowledge of AIM methodology and functional solution design documentation.
• Analytical skills for root-cause analysis and workaround solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team-oriented in global setups.
• Basic SQL knowledge is advantageous.

EXPERIENCE:

Job Description:

Professional with minimum 5 years' experience in translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Evaluate the technical and functional solutions to meet the business needs and ensure the solution is captured in the technical design document. Validate the design of system architecture, including Oracle Applications modules, extensions and interfaces to third party applications. Work with Technical Lead and project execution teams to solve cross-functional issue, recommend and ensure proper functional alternatives have been selected and implemented.

Mandatory Skills / Requirement:

• At least 5 years of experience as functional consultant in implementing full lifecycle global Oracle ERP implementation.
• Experience in implementation & maintenance of following Oracle modules.

Minimum 5 years of experience in AR, CM, GL (R2R module) [

• Must have strong experience in functional designing including requirement gathering, gap analysis, review of functional documents and functional testing.
• Deep understanding of accounting concepts, Oracle Financials architecture, including multi-org and sub-ledger accounting (SLA),
• Have good knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology and experience in writing functional solution design and testing documents.
• Have analytical expertise in analyzing recurring issues, performing root cause analysis, functional Patch Impact Analysis and providing workaround solutions, if applicable.
• Sound in trouble shooting - Oracle application functionality, Setup, Configuration, Process and Data Issue.
• Exposure to automated testing tool, Agile is added advantage.
• Strong functional knowledge of R2R track modules &: Accounts Receivables, Cash Management & General Ledger]
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with ability to take on multiple assignments in customer focused environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DEV & DBA teams.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in global team setups.
• Basis knowledge of SQL is added advantage.
