Job summary

First American (India) is seeking a Functional Consultant (Oracle Apps - EBS R12) with 5+ years of experience. The role involves translating business requirements into detailed functional specs, evaluating technical/functional solutions, and ensuring designs are captured in the technical design document.

The candidate will validate architecture, work with developers, and resolve cross-functional issues. Proficiency in AR, CM, GL (R2R), Oracle AIM methodology, and SLAs is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as functional consultant in implementing full lifecycle Oracle ERP implementation.
• Experience in AR, CM, GL (R2R) modules.
• Experience with AIM methodology and writing functional design/testing documents.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials architecture including SLA and multi-org.
• Exposure to automated testing tools; Agile is an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.
• SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in global team setups.

Job Description:

Professional with minimum 5 years' experience in translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Evaluate the technical and functional solutions to meet the business needs and ensure the solution is captured in the technical design document. Validate the design of system architecture, including Oracle Applications modules, extensions and interfaces to third party applications. Work with Technical Lead and project execution teams to solve cross-functional issue, recommend and ensure proper functional alternatives have been selected and implemented.

Mandatory Skills / Requirement:

• At least 5 years of experience as functional consultant in implementing full lifecycle global Oracle ERP implementation.
• Experience in implementation & maintenance of following Oracle modules.

Minimum 5 years of experience in AR, CM, GL (R2R module) [

• Must have strong experience in functional designing including requirement gathering, gap analysis, review of functional documents and functional testing.
• Deep understanding of accounting concepts, Oracle Financials architecture, including multi-org and sub-ledger accounting (SLA),
• Have good knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology and experience in writing functional solution design and testing documents.
• Have analytical expertise in analyzing recurring issues, performing root cause analysis, functional Patch Impact Analysis and providing workaround solutions, if applicable.
• Sound in trouble shooting - Oracle application functionality, Setup, Configuration, Process and Data Issue.
• Exposure to automated testing tool, Agile is added advantage.
• Strong functional knowledge of R2R track modules &: Accounts Receivables, Cash Management & General Ledger]
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with ability to take on multiple assignments in customer focused environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DEV & DBA teams.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in global team setups.
• Basis knowledge of SQL is added advantage.
