Job summary

Buxton Consulting is hiring an Oracle EBS Finance Techno‑Functional Consultant for a high‑visibility AMS engagement. The role requires strong functional expertise and technical troubleshooting across EBS modules, with night/rotational shifts and possible Gurgaon travel.

You will work in a fast‑paced client environment, handling AR, AP and GL support, incident resolution, and bolt-on integrations with AWS, Scala, Spark. Excellent communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of hands-on Oracle EBS Finance (AR, AP, GL) experience.
• Experience in AMS/high-touch client engagements.
• Techno-functional with configuration and debugging skills.
• Exposure to AWS, Scala and Spark or similar bolt-on technologies.
• Hands-on ITSM experience, especially Jira.
• Strong client communication, including executive escalations.
• Willingness to work night/rotational shifts and travel to Gurgaon if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional support across Oracle EBS Finance modules: AR, AP, GL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and enhancements within SLAs using ITSM tools.
• Support bolt-on/boundary applications integrated with EBS, including AWS, Scala, and Spark-based components.
• Work night shifts or rotational shifts aligned to client time zones.
• Serve as a key client-facing point of contact, communicating clearly on critical and escalated issues.
• Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a high-burn engagement.
• Drive root-cause analysis for recurring issues to reduce escalations.
• Stay composed and professional in situations that elevate to C-suite/client leadership.

Oracle EBS Finance Techno‑Functional Consultant

Location: PAN, India (Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai)- Hyderabad, Gurgaon preferred | Remote with occasional travel to Gurgaon as needed.

Support Hours: Night shifts or rotational shifts aligned to client time zones

Employment Type: Full-Time

Start Date: Immediate

Experience: 6-9+ years

Notice Period: 2 Weeks to 2 Months
