Job summary

HypTechie in India is seeking an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple Oracle Financial modules, be capable of gathering business requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, and configuring Oracle EBS systems.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Finance modules.
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations (R12 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Indian localization and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Functional consulting across Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
• Gather requirements and perform fit-gap analyses for localization needs.
• Prepare BR100s, functional specs, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support enhancements.
• Provide training and post go-live support to users.
• Participate in testing and end-to-end project activities.

Key Responsibilities

Functional consulting in one or more Oracle EBS Finance modules:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payables (AP)
• Accounts Receivables (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• i‑Expense, SLA
• Project Expenditure, Project Costing
• In‑depth understanding of Projects and Loans modules.
• Conduct business discussions with clients to gather functional requirements.
• Perform fit‑gap analysis, especially for Indian Localization needs.
• Prepare Functional Specification Documents, BR100s, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support system enhancements or customizations.
• Provide support during implementation, testing, and post‑go‑live phases.
• Work closely with users to provide training and resolve functional issues.
• Experience or exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL is a plus.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 6 years of hands‑on experience in Oracle EBS Financial modules.
• At least 2 full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations (R12 preferred).
• Strong domain knowledge in finance and accounting processes.
• Excellent client communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Indian statutory requirements and localization is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Oracle Fusion/Cloud Financials.
• Basic technical debugging using SQL/PLSQL.
• Oracle certification(s) in Financial modules.
