Job summary

BKA Infotech is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. The role covers implementation, support, enhancements, and process optimization across GL, AP, AR, CM, and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of SLA, Project Billing/Accounting, and Fixed Assets is highly preferred. Location is Head Office, Thane, with a full-time, on-site employment type.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Oracle Financials certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Oracle EBS Financials.
• Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS Finance modules.
• Provide functional design solutions and collaborate with technical teams for development and customization requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice Oracle solutions.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Manage issue resolution, root cause analysis, and user support.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and user training materials.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams for project deliveries.
• Participate in application upgrades, patch testing, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards, and organizational policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultant with 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Oracle Finance modules, including implementation, support, enhancement, and business process optimization.

Knowledge of AP,AR,CM,GL modules are must.

Experience in Subledger Accounting (SLA), Project Billing/Project Accounting, and Fixed Assets (FA) will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EBS Financial Modules

Strong functional knowledge and hands‑on experience in:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Financial Reporting

Preferred Expertise

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

1. Subledger Accounting (SLA)

• Understanding of SLA architecture and accounting methods.
• Experience in configuring Accounting Methods Builder (AMB).
• Ability to troubleshoot accounting derivation and journal generation issues.
• Knowledge of accounting event management and accounting rules.

2. Project Billing / Project Accounting

• Oracle Projects (PA) functional knowledge.
• Project cost management and revenue recognition.
• Project billing setup and invoicing.
• Integration between Projects and Financial modules.

3. Fixed Assets (FA)

• Asset additions, retirements, transfers, and adjustments.
• Depreciation setup and execution.
• Asset capitalization processes.
• FA integration with AP and GL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Oracle Financials certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
