The role involves administering EBS environments, performance tuning, and patch management. Successful candidates will have strong experience in RMAN and compliance support. Qualifications

• Strong experience as Oracle EBS DBA Administrator.
• Experience with RMAN, EBS patching, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Good documentation skills for patching and cloning processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support & clone EBS environment (PROD & non-Prod).
• Patch Oracle DB PSU/CPU & EBS patches.
• Backup & Recovery using RMAN, specific to EBS.
• Performance tuning for DB and EBS Concurrent Requests.
• Manage database security and access.

Overview

Oracle EBS DBA Administrator at Genpact

Location: Pune

Responsibilities

• Administer, support & clone EBS environment (PROD & non-Prod)
• Patching: Oracle DB PSU/CPU & EBS patches
• Backup & Recovery (RMAN, EBS specific)
• Performance tuning (DB + EBS Concurrent Requests)
• Database security & access management
• System administration - User and responsibility management (via FND_USERS, forms)
• Logical backups using Oracle Data Pump
• Support development team to deploy custom codes/code fixes
• Monitoring DB + EBS (OEM, custom alerts, shell scripts)
• High Availability (RAC, ASM, Data Guard)
• Documentation of DB/EBS (Patching, Cloning etc.)
• Compliance support (SOX, ITGC, internal audits)
• Coordinate with Oracle Support for major issues (SRs, patch requests)
• Incident/Service request/Change Management (Database + EBS Application Layer)
• Design, Build & Architect the DB & EBS Servers

Qualifications

• Strong experience as Oracle EBS DBA Administrator
• Experience with RMAN, EBS patching, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
• Experience with FND_USERS and forms for user/responsibility management
• Experience in SOX/ITGC compliance and internal audits
• Ability to coordinate with Oracle Support and manage SRs
• Good documentation skills for patching and cloning processes
