Job summary

Wipro is seeking an Oracle GoldenGate expert to join our team in Chennai/Pune. You will handle Classic and Microservices architectures, with strong Extract/Replicat configuration and admin responsibilities.

Role covers heterogeneous migrations (Sybase ASE to Oracle) with initial load and real-time replication, plus uni-/bi-directional replication and collision handling. Proficiency in Veridata, Logdump, DEFGEN, and lag troubleshooting is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle GoldenGate experience across Classic and Microservices.
• Experience with Extract/Replicat configuration and administration.
• Proven heterogeneous migration experience, ideally Sybase ASE to Oracle.
• Heterogeneous migration experience on GoldenGate with initial load and real-time replication.
• Experience with large-scale initial loads for heterogeneous migration (Sybase to Oracle).
• Managing uni-/bi-directional and peer-to-peer replication with CDR and collision handling.
• Export in Veridata, Logdump, trail file analysis, DEFGEN; initial load, lag and abend troubleshooting.
• Solid Oracle Database skills: Data Pump, RMAN, SQL/PLSQL, SCN-based instantiation.
• Good to know: credential stores/wallets and enterprise secret management (CyberArk, NGC).
• Strong Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Sybase ASE and LTM/RepAgent knowledge.
• Familiarity with containers/ECS deployment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Oracle GoldenGate implementation for both Classic and Microservices architectures.
• Configure and administer Extract/Replicat processes.
• Perform large-scale initial loads for heterogeneous migrations (e.g., Sybase ASE → Oracle).
• Manage uni-/bi-directional and peer-to-peer replication with CDR and collision handling.
• Conduct Veridata exports, logdump, trail analysis, and DEFGEN tasks; troubleshoot lag/abend.
• Leverage Oracle DB skills (Data Pump, RMAN, SQL/PLSQL, SCN-based instantiation).
• Utilize credential stores/wallets and enterprise secret management (CyberArk, NGC).
• Possess Linux admin and shell scripting expertise; knowledge of containers/ECS deployment is a plus.
