Job summary

SP Staffing is seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA to administer and support Oracle Database environments in production across multiple Indian locations. The role involves Exadata platforms, RAC/ASM/Grid Infrastructure, and Data Guard capabilities, ensuring high availability and performance.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of hands-on Oracle Database experience, including RMAN backup/recovery, migration, and proactive maintenance in demanding production settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle Database administration experience in production environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, migrating and maintaining Oracle databases on Exadata.
• Proficient in Oracle RAC, ASM and Grid Infrastructure administration.

• Administer and support Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c and above in production environments.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, migrate, and maintain Oracle databases on Exadata.
• Administer and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain Exadata compute nodes, cell servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Perform database creation, cloning, refresh, migration, upgrade, and decommission activities.
• Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard / Active Data Guard and Data Guard Broker.
• Perform RMAN backup, restore, and recovery activities.
