Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Senior Oracle Exadata Engineers with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, performance tuning and database migration, along with practical experience in OCI environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer and maintain Oracle Exadata environments.
• Perform Oracle Database administration for large-scale production environments.
• Manage and support Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard environments.
• Perform database backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities using RMAN.
• Monitor database and Exadata performance and perform performance tuning and optimization.
• Troubleshoot database, RAC, ASM, Exadata and connectivity-related issues.
• Perform database patching, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Manage Exadata components including DB nodes, storage cells and InfiniBand/RDMA connectivity.
• Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform database migration, cloning and refresh activities.
• Work with OCI services, including OCI Compute, Networking, Storage and Database services.
• Support migration of Oracle databases from on-premises environments to OCI/Exadata Cloud environments.
• Monitor system health, capacity, availability and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in production support, incident management and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, cloud and security teams for database-related activities.

• Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate is an advantage.
• Experience with database migration tools such as Data Pump, RMAN, GoldenGate or ZDM.
• Oracle Database/Exadata certifications will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

• 7-10 years of overall experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata environments.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of Oracle high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical teams.
• Willingness to support production environments and participate in on-call/shift activities when required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
