Job summary

HCLTech in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, invites an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage Oracle Database, Exadata and RAC environments in a 24x7 production setting. You will optimize performance, handle backup/recovery, and ensure high availability and security across enterprise systems.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of hands-on DBA experience, strong PL/SQL skills, expertise in Linux/Unix, and familiarity with OCI and other databases. On-site role with shift rotations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle Exadata, RAC, and Oracle ASM.
• Proficient in RMAN backup/recovery and data protection strategies.
• Strong SQL/PL/SQL and Linux/Unix proficiency.
• Familiarity with OCI Database services and other RDBMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and operational support for Oracle Database, Exadata, RAC environments.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize performance of Oracle systems.
• Handle backup and recovery activities per organizational standards.
• Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations.

• Support backup and recovery activities as per defined organizational standards

• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure database stability
