We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support, optimize, and manage enterprise-grade Oracle database environments within Oracle CSS.

The role covers database administration, high availability, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, migrations, and operational support for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and HA architectures.
• Patching, upgrades, migrations, backup, and disaster recovery experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments across production and non-production systems.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high-availability configurations for resilience.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and health checks.
• Plan and execute patching, version upgrades, migrations, and platform refresh activities.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for mission-critical workloads.
• Resolve incidents and service requests with customers and internal teams.
• Recommend improvements to stability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to process improvement through documentation, automation, and best practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support, optimize, and manage enterprise-grade Oracle database environments. The role involves database administration, high availability, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, migrations, and operational support for business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments across production and non-production systems.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high-availability configurations to ensure resilience and continuity.
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and proactive health checks.
• Plan and execute database patching, version upgrades, migrations, and platform refresh activities.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for mission-critical workloads.
• Resolve complex database incidents, service requests, and operational issues with customer and internal teams.
• Recommend improvements to database stability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to process improvement through documentation, automation, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years Strong Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high-availability architecture.
• Experience with patching, upgrades, migrations, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and enterprise operational support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Oracle GoldenGate, Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
• DevOps practices, scripting, and automation for database operations.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
• Oracle database, cloud, or engineered-systems certifications.
