About the Role
As an Oracle Cloud SCM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. Your primary focus will be on helping clients enhance their supply chain processes using Oracle Cloud SCM technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and supply chain processes.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements for Oracle Cloud SCM implementation.
- Design and configure Oracle Cloud SCM modules, with focus on Inventory, Costing, Maintenance, and Order Management.
- Lead or support the implementation of Oracle Cloud SCM projects.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and assist with data migration and system customization as needed.
- Develop and execute test scenarios to validate the functionality and performance of the Oracle Cloud SCM applications.
- Identify and resolve any issues or gaps in the implemented solution.
- Provide comprehensive training to end-users on Oracle Cloud SCM modules and functionality.
- Offer post-implementation support to address user queries and resolve any issues that arise.
- Evaluate and optimize clients' supply chain processes by leveraging Oracle Cloud SCM capabilities.
- Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Generate regular reports to track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Effectively communicate project status and address any concerns or challenges.
Qualifications
- Expected experience for the following:
- Knowledge of setting up inventory organizations, locations, and sub-inventories.
- Familiarity with configuring item master catalogs, creating items, and assigning attributes.
- Ability to configure various inventory transaction types.
- Knowledge of setting up different costing methods.
- Understanding the integration between Oracle Cloud Inventory and Supply Chain Orchestration.
- Experience with inventory replenishment configurations.
- Familiarity with setting up approvals and controls for inventory transactions.
- Understanding integrations with other Oracle Cloud modules.
- Knowledge of creating and managing user-defined attributes for inventory items.
- Maintenance
- Understanding how to set up maintenance organizations, locations, and work centers.
- Knowledge of configuring assets and asset hierarchies.
- Ability to create maintenance work definitions.
- Configuring maintenance programs and schedules.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing the work order lifecycle.
- Knowledge of setting up material and resource requirements for maintenance work orders.
- Configuring maintenance costing elements to track and allocate costs accurately.
- Configuring work requests to allow end-users to request maintenance services.
- Knowledge of integrations with other Oracle modules.
- Knowledge of defining preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Order Management
- Deep understanding of setting up order orchestration processes.
- Ability to configure various order types and set up related processing rules.
- Proficiency in configuring fulfillment setups.
- Knowledge of Oracle Pricing configuration.
- Familiarity with configuring sales order reservations.
- Setting up Available to Promise (ATP) rules and sourcing strategies.
- Configuring hold and exception rules.
- Ability to set up credit checks and validation rules for orders.
- Proficiency in configuring return processes.
- Experience with configuring workflow and approval processes.
- Setting up relevant dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for monitoring order performance.
- Understanding of product and customer data integration.
- Knowledge of configuring back-to-back and drop shipment processes.
