Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Software Engineer to support Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion applications, covering SaaS, PaaS, and OIC environments. You will contribute to production support, code reviews, and integration tasks with a focus on GL, AP, AR, and other modules.

The role requires hands-on OTBI and BI Publisher development, plus OIC integration experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to collaborate with business customers and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Hands on development experience with OTBI and BI Publisher report development.
• Hands on OIC Integration development experience.
• Proficiency with XML and SFTP for integrations.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion/SaaS/PaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for application support, maintenance, documentation, testing, and validation as directed to ensure high availability.
• Analyze code components, debug, maintain and implement projects.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our ever evolving Oracle ERP team and help shape the future of global commerce.A technical role providing support of technology solutions that are complex in nature and related to Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion (SaaS), PAAS , and OIC environments for the core financial applications (including, but not limited to GL, AP, AR, FA, Purchasing, Projects, Inventory). The role will work within the Fusion Cloud ERP Production Support Team to understand requirements to determine the best technical solutions within the Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion Applications. This person should be able to think strategically and understand the bigger picture when developing solutions and engaging with our Business customers.What you’ll ownResponsible for application support, maintenance, documentation, testing, and validation as directed to ensure high availabilityAnalyze code components, debugs, maintains and implements projectsWorks closely with end users to understand business needsProvides issue remediation and testing support across supported applicationsAssist Support Team members with day to day Technical issue resolution and enhancement requests.Applies a basic understanding of procedures, methodology, and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security complianceEnsures development and implementation of solutions that follow product development guidelines and are in line with established design standardsResolves or escalates issues as appropriateSupport and establish communication to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in code reviews and application tuning activitiesMaintain SOX Audit and application control/integrity requirements and SDLC/complianceWork with Oracle through their support portal.
