Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud production support team in India. You’ll work on Oracle SaaS, PaaS and OIC environments for core financial apps like GL, AP, AR, FA, Purchasing, Projects and Inventory, ensuring high availability and compliant delivery.

You’ll analyze requirements with end users, develop OTBI and BI Publisher reports, build OIC integrations, and contribute to tests, documentation and code reviews while following SDLC and SOX

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience with Oracle SaaS, PaaS and OIC Applications.
• Hands on development experience with OTBI and BI Publisher report development.
• Hands on OIC Integration development experience.
• Hands-on experience with XML and SFTP.
• Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with internal customers for UAT.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and maintenance for Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion.
• Analyze code, debug, implement projects and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with end users to understand business needs.
• Develop tests, document changes, and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain SOX audit and SDLC/compliance controls.

The role will work within the Fusion Cloud ERP Production Support Team to understand requirements to determine the best technical solutions within the Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion Applications. This person should be able to think strategically and understand the bigger picture when developing solutions and engaging with our Business customers.What you’ll ownResponsible for application support, maintenance, documentation, testing, and validation as directed to ensure high availabilityAnalyze code components, debugs, maintains and implements projectsWorks closely with end users to understand business needsProvides issue remediation and testing support across supported applicationsAssist Support Team members with day to day Technical issue resolution and enhancement requests.Applies a basic understanding of procedures, methodology, and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security complianceEnsures development and implementation of solutions that follow product development guidelines and are in line with established design standardsResolves or escalates issues as appropriateSupport and establish communication to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in code reviews and application tuning activitiesMaintain SOX Audit and application control/integrity requirements and SDLC/complianceWork with Oracle through their support portal.
