Job summary

Covalense Digital is seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Tester to join our QA team in Bengaluru. The candidate will contribute to end-to-end testing of BRM applications within telecom billing contexts.

The role requires hands-on BRM testing with 4+ years of relevant experience, plus strong SQL validation and API testing skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across BRM, OSS/BSS, and Order-to-Cash processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Oracle BRM Testing experience is mandatory.
• Overall experience of 4–8 years in Software Testing/QA.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle BRM and telecom billing.
• Good understanding of BRM architecture and billing processes.
• Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression and System Testing.
• Strong understanding of Rating, Charging, Billing and Invoicing.
• Good knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing using Postman/SOAP UI is preferred.
• Good understanding of OSS/BSS and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression and end-to-end testing of Oracle BRM applications.
• Test BRM business flows including: Customer/Account Management, Product and Pricing, Subscription Management, Rating and Charging, Billing and Invoicing, Payments, Adjustments, Discounts, Taxes, Collections.
• Validate billing cycles, rating, charges, discounts, taxation, adjustments and invoices.
• Perform end-to-end testing of BRM and integrated OSS/BSS systems.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression and production validation testing.
• Perform API/web-service testing using Postman/SOAP UI.
• Perform database validation using SQL.
• Identify, log, track and retest defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Participate in defect triage and work closely with developers, Business Analysts and other QA teams.
• Prepare test execution reports and provide regular testing/status updates.
• Support release validation and production verification activities.
