Job summary

Systems Arabia is seeking an Oracle BRM Developer/Consultant to configure, develop, and support BRM for telecom billing. You will ensure accurate pricing, rating, invoicing, and collections while integrating BRM with Siebel, UIM, and AIA.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of hands-on BRM experience, strong Java, SQL/PLSQL, and a deep understanding of BRM architecture (7.5/12.x). Experience with BRM ECE or migrations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-8 years hands-on Oracle BRM experience in telecom billing.
• Strong knowledge of BRM architecture (7.5/12.x).
• Experience with Java, SQL, and PL/SQL on Oracle DB.
• Experience with Siebel/UIM/AIA integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Oracle BRM Developer / Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, development, customization, and production support of Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM). The role focuses on ensuring accurate pricing, rating, billing, invoicing, and collections while supporting seamless integration with Oracle Siebel, UIM, and AIA systems. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of hands-on Oracle BRM experience with a strong background in telecom billing.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and maintain Oracle BRM pricing, rating, and billing components, including products, deals, discounts, and bill formats based on business requirements.
• Develop and support BRM Opcodes, custom PCM/PIN API extensions, and Pipeline Manager configurations to enhance billing and rating functionality.
• Support end-to-end billing operations, including invoicing, adjustments, collections, dunning, month-end billing cycles, and billing cutover/hypercare activities.
• Build and maintain integrations between Oracle BRM and Siebel, UIM, and AIA to support end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
• Troubleshoot production billing issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve rating discrepancies, failed billing runs, and other system-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle BRM, preferably within the Telecom/Communications industry.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle BRM architecture (7.5/12.x), PCM/PIN APIs, Opcode customization, Pipeline Manager, and Pipeline Data Configurator (PDC).
• Experience with Java for BRM custom development and API extensions, along with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills on Oracle Database.
• Solid understanding of telecom billing concepts, including usage rating, proration, discounting, invoicing, and billing cycles.
• Experience with Oracle BRM Elastic Charging Engine (ECE), Oracle RODOD-based BSS stacks, or BRM upgrades and migrations is an added advantage.
