Nextenti Tech Private Limited is seeking a qualified optometrist to join our remote eye health chat support team from Bengaluru. You will provide real-time consultations, guide patients on vision correction options, and deliver pre- and post-operative care instructions.

The role requires strong English writing skills and comfort with a chat-based consultation model, with rotational night shifts. Applicants should be ready to engage with multiple patient conversations while maintaining

Qualifications

• B.Optom degree and valid registration are required.
• Proficient written English communication is essential.
• Experience in chat-based patient interactions is preferred.
• Willingness to work rotational night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time medical consultation via live chat on eye health and vision concerns.
• Guide patients on vision correction procedures such as LASIK and other treatments.
• Offer pre- and post-operative care instructions.
• Identify high-risk or urgent cases and escalate as per SOPs.
• Document patient interactions accurately in internal systems.
• Follow clinical protocols, quality benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy.

• Always maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Optom or equivalent degree in Optometry


• Valid registration / certification as applicable


• Strong written communication skills in English


• Comfortable working in a chat-based consultation model


• Ability to handle multiple patient conversations efficiently


• Willingness to work rotational shifts including night shifts
