Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Optical Fiber Network Engineer with 7+ years hands-on in Optical Fiber Networks, Routing & Switching, and telecom infrastructure deployment.

Design, deploy, and maintain optical fiber network infrastructure. Configure routers, switches, and network devices; perform fiber testing, splicing, and fault resolution; ensure network availability and service uptime; coordinate with field teams and stakeholders. Prepare network documentation and technical reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in optical fiber networks and telecom deployment.
• Strong experience with routing & switching across major vendors.
• Experience with OTDR testing and fiber fault isolation.
• Familiarity with FTTH/FTTx/GPON and MPLS networks.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN design and implementation.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP.
