You will oversee network reliability, security posture, cloud-on-prem hybrid infra, and smooth store operations. The role demands leadership, vendor management, and hands-on technical excellence in a 24/7 retail environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, manage and optimize multi-location network architecture for 100+ stores.
- Lead firewall, VPN, SD-WAN operations and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical systems.
- Own enterprise security posture, backup strategy, DR/BCP, and audits.
- Coordinate Azure/AWS/on-prem infrastructure and Entra (Azure AD) planning.
- Standardize store infra, SOPs, testing, and governance across locations.
- Lead infra engineers, manage vendors, and drive training & SLAs.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and proactive maintenance culture.

We are looking for an experienced Infra Leader to own, run, and scale the entire network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity landscape of a fast-growing F&B/QSR retail network (100+ stores).
This is a leadership role responsible for network reliability, security posture, cloud-on-prem hybrid infra, and smooth store operations across India.
- Design, manage, and optimize multi-location network architecture connecting HO, corporate office, CMLs, warehouses, and 100+ stores.
- Lead operations of firewalls, routers, switches, SD-WAN/MPLS, VPN tunnels, VLAN segmentation, and ISP failovers.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for POS, ERP (Nav/LS Retail), mobile apps
- Own performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network connectivity.
- Own enterprise security posture: EDR, Firewall Policies, SIEM/SOC, patching, identity management.
- Drive best practices for endpoint protection, network hardening, and ransomware prevention.
- Lead backup strategy, DR/BCP, and security audits.
- Work closely with Technology teams to ensure secure API, cloud, and data access
- Manage and integrate infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem systems.
- Lead Active Directory Entra (Azure AD) planning and migration.
- Maintain server health, backup, monitoring (VMs, SQL servers, ERP servers, CCTV cloud storage).
- Standardize store infra kit: firewalls, switches, routers, POS terminals, Wi-Fi, printers, UPS.
- Drive new-store readiness with structured SOPs:
- Network diagrams
- ISP coordination
- CCTV/Access control
- Testing & sign-offs
- Build store-infra governance (audits, checklists, monthly health reports).
- Lead a team of infra engineers; build culture of documentation, RCA, ownership, and timelines.
- Manage vendors for networks, cloud, firewalls, ISPs, CCTV, and endpoint security.
- Build training programs for internal teams.
- Ensure SLAs with store ops and management are consistently met/exceeded.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, checklists, network diagrams.
- Implement centralized monitoring (Grafana/PRTG/Zabbix/ManageEngine).
- Generate weekly dashboards on uptime, incidents, ISP performance, and infra health.
- Drive preventive maintenance culture instead of reactive firefighting.
- 1015+ years experience managing infra for retail/F&B/hospitality or large distributed networks.
- Strong expertise in:
- SonicWall firewalls
- Routing/switching, VLANs, IPSec VPN, SD-WAN
- Network monitoring tools
- Windows Servers, AD/Entra, Group Policies
- Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- DR, backup, and cybersecurity tools
- Endpoint protection (Bitdefender, CrowdStrike, etc.)
- Certification in any of CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4+, CompTIA Security+, CEH, ISO 27001 (Lead Implementer/Auditor), Azure/AWS Associate certifications is a big plus
- Strong communication and ability to work with store ops, SCM, finance, leadership.
- Experience leading teams of 515 infra engineers.
- Strong documentation and RCA discipline.
- Ability to operate under pressure in a 247 retail environment.
