Omnicom Global Solutions (OGS) is seeking a Data Scientist to transform complex data into actionable business insights within the GCP ecosystem. You will build end-to-end ML pipelines from BigQuery data ingestion to Vertex AI deployment and monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in data science and a strong foundation in statistical modeling, ML, and data engineering. This hybrid role is based in Hyderabad with WFO 3 days and WFH 2 days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.

Responsabilités

• Data Exploration & Strategy: Mine and analyze data from company databases (BigQuery) to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
• Model Development: Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, etc.).
• GCP Implementation: Utilize Vertex AI for training and deploying models at scale. Leverage Dataflow or Dataproc for large‑scale data processing.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and pipeline efficiency.
• A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model performance and product changes.
• Visualization: Build automated dashboards and reports using Looker or Looker Studio to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and help us turn complex data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning, coupled with hands‑on experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. You will be responsible for building end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion in BigQuery to model deployment and monitoring via Vertex AI.

Required Technical Skills

• Programming: Mastery of Python (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy) and/or R.
• SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills, specifically optimized for BigQuery (using standard SQL and ML functions).
• GCP Ecosystem:
  • Vertex AI (AutoML, Training, Pipelines, and Model Registry).
  • BigQuery ML for quick‑to‑market predictive modeling.
  • Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions for event‑driven data tasks.
• MLOps: Familiarity with CI/CD for machine learning (Kubeflow or Vertex AI Pipelines).
• Deep Learning: Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch (bonus if you've used Googles TPU infrastructure).
• Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
• Certification (Preferred): Google Professional Data Engineer or Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification.
