QPLUS STAFFING is recruiting for a Phaco Surgeon / Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a full-time ophthalmology department in India. The role demands hands-on phacoemulsification experience and strong patient care skills.

The candidate should hold MBBS plus MS/MD/DNB Ophthalmology with valid registration; freshers or experienced ophthalmologists are welcome depending on hospital requirements, with immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MS/MD/DNB Ophthalmology and valid registration.
• Experience in phacoemulsification preferred but freshers welcome depending on hospital requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform phacoemulsification (Phaco) cataract surgeries independently.
• Evaluate patients for cataract surgery and assess surgical suitability.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative examinations and patient counselling.
• Manage routine cataract cases and handle post-operative complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
• Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
