Job summary

Lonza in India, Haryana seeks a Print Operator to execute capsule printing operations under GMP standards. You will perform printing, inspection, documentation, machine setup and changeovers to ensure accurate output in a clean, safe environment.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, basic SCADA knowledge, and an ITI/ Diploma in Pharmacy, Science or Engineering (Chemical preferred). Entry-level pharma experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Pharmacy, Science or Engineering required or preferred.
• Entry-level experience in pharma manufacturing or similar.
• Knowledge of capsule printing and GMP/SOP processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate capsule printing machines per SOPs and WOP.
• Perform printing setup, changeovers and line clearance.
• Inspect capsules against control samples and identify defects.
• Document production activities and maintain logs.
• Ensure GMP compliance and workplace hygiene.
• Follow safety protocols and gowning procedures.
• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

The Print Operator is responsible for executing capsule printing operations in compliance with GMP, EHS, and quality standards. The role ensures accurate printing, inspection, documentation, machine setup, and changeovers while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.

What You Will Do

• Operate capsule printing machines as per SOPs and Work Order Plans (WOP)
• Perform printing setup, changeovers, and line clearance activities
• Inspect printed capsules against control samples and identify defects
• Carry out corrective actions for printing defects and process deviations
• Maintain production documentation, logbooks, and inspection reports
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, workplace hygiene, and GMP compliance
• Follow gowning procedures, personal hygiene, and safety protocols
• Support preventive maintenance through equipment monitoring and feedback
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assigned projects
• Attend mandatory training and support skill development as a PCM operator
• Execute assigned activities during shutdown periods
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with strict quality and safety standards

• Education: ITI or Diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or Engineering (Preferred: Chemical)
