Job summary

Lonza Hyderabad seeks a gLIMS Support & Data Expert to maintain master data, run CSV tests, and support GMP data integrity across global teams.

The role is office-first with the option to work remotely up to 20% of the time. You will engage with GLO, site reps, and IT to ensure smooth LIMS operations and data quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QC operations, LIMS support, or digital laboratory systems.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Chemistry, or scientific discipline; CSV/QC software experience welcomed.
• Strong GMP data integrity and master data management knowledge.
• Hands-on with LabVantage LIMS and CSV test scripts.
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to SAP/TrackWise/KNEAT is a plus.

• Perform SOP-driven gLIMS master data tasks end-to-end to support standards and continuity.
• Collaborate with GLO, site reps, and IT teams for system configuration and testing.
• Review master data requests for quality standard alignment before approval.
• Run validation scripts, regression tests, and upload results for changes.
• Prepare raw data extracts for QC KPI reporting and system reviews.
• Upload validation/compliance docs and support emergency changes per SOPs.
• Support site users with LIMS processes and escalation of complex issues.

gLIMS Support & Data Expert

The actual location of this job is in Hyderabad, India. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Drive global healthcare quality by maintaining the core laboratory digital systems that keep our manufacturing network moving forward. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding data integrity, optimizing gLIMS master data, and collaborating across global teams to support life-saving therapies.

This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (three days per week in office).

What you will do:

• Perform SOP-driven gLIMS master data tasks (creation, verification, approval, transfer) end-to-end to support global standards and business continuity.
• Collaborate closely with the Global LIMS Office (GLO), local site representatives, and gLIMS/SAP IT teams for smooth execution of system configuration and testing.
• Review master data requests from global sites for consistency with quality standards prior to approval.
• Execute predefined validation test scripts, regression testing, and upload results for system changes and upgrades.
• Prepare raw data extracts for QC KPI reporting and compile transactional data for periodic system reviews.
• Upload approved validation and compliance documents and support emergency system changes following change management SOPs.
• Support local site users through knowledge sharing, guidance on LIMS processes, and prompt escalation of complex system issues.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in QC operations, LIMS support, or digital laboratory systems within a regulated environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Chemistry, or a scientific discipline; equivalent practical experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) or QC software administration is welcome.
• Technical Skills: Strong hands‑on experience with gLIMS platforms (LabVantage LIMS preferred) and CSV test script creation and execution.
• Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of GMP standards, data integrity principles, and master data management in QC environments.
• System Capabilities: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); practical exposure to SAP, TrackWise, or KNEAT is a plus.
• Communication: Business‑fluent English language skills with strong cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
• Mindset: Service‑minded, detail‑oriented problem solver with an agile approach to adapting to new processes and system updates.
