Job summary

EXL is seeking an Operations Research Engineer to develop labor optimization models using LP/MIP methods. You will collaborate with program partners to define requirements, build data pipelines, and implement optimization code to enhance decision processes.

The role requires 2+ years in optimization, experience with Gurobi/XPRESS/CPLEX, and programming skills (Python preferred) with basic SQL knowledge. You will contribute to cross-country projects and work closely with teams to refine model

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Optimization building Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming models.
• Experience with commercial solvers like Gurobi, FICO Xpress or IBM CPLEX
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language. Python preferred
• Basic knowledge of SQL

Come build Optimization tools for Amazon Supply Chain. Our Research team builds decision support tools for supply chain processes across multiple countries. We are looking for an Operations Research Engineer develop of our labor optimization models using Mixed Integer Programming, Linear Programming or Heuristic search. This engineer, will work closely with our program partners to define business requirements, build data pipeline, write optimization code and deep dive on solution quality.

• 2+ years of experience in field of Optimization building Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming models.
• Experience with commercial solvers like Gurobi, FICO Xpress or IBM CPLEX
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language. Python preferred
• Basic knowledge of SQL
