Job summary

Eaton seeks a senior manufacturing leader for its Ranjangaon plant in Maharashtra. You will drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity targets, lead Lean and digital manufacturing initiatives, and manage budgets and equipment investments.

The role requires deep experience in automotive/industrial operations and strong leadership across functions. You will partner with the Plant Manager to deliver sustainable growth, workforce effectiveness, and a culture of continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in automotive or industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all manufacturing operations at the Ranjangaon plant to achieve SQDCP objectives.

What You’ll Do

Eaton announced, on June 11, 20206, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. Lead and direct all manufacturing operations at the Ranjangaon plant to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity (SQDCP) objectives. Drive operational excellence, capacity utilization, customer satisfaction, workforce effectiveness, continuous improvement, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, regulatory, and Eaton Business System requirements. Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to deliver sustainable business growth and operational performance.

Essential Functions

• Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets.


• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Eaton Business System deployment.


• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.


• Deliver customer commitments through effective production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and resource optimization.


• Lead productivity, cost reduction, waste elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant profitability and competitiveness.


• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and Materials teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction


• Drive operational reviews and performance management using key metrics including OEE, RTPPM, productivity, delivery, quality, and cost.


• Develop organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership coaching.


• Lead digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enhance operational visibility, decision-making, and manufacturing performance.


• Manage operating budgets, capital investments, and manufacturing resources to achieve financial and operational objectives.


• Lead root-cause problem solving and corrective actions to address operational disruptions, customer concerns, quality issues, and productivity losses.


• Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team and contribute to strategic business initiatives, growth plans, operational transformation, and Smart Factory deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.


• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in automotive or industrial operations.

Skills

• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement.


• Proven experience leading large manufacturing teams and managing plant performance.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, cost management, productivity improvement, and capital investments.
