Job summary

Yulu, Bengaluru-based, is seeking a City Operations Monitor to join the control room and oversee daily bike operations. You will work with the field team to implement, optimize, and scale operational processes for efficiency and reliability across the city.

The role requires 1–3 years in operations with field staff, strong English communication, and openness to night shifts and a six-day work week. This is an on-site position in Bengaluru, tied to Yulu’s last-mile mobility network.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations and field staff management.
• Experience in E-Commerce, Logistics or Mobility is preferred.
• Willing to work night shifts and a 6-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day city operations and implement the strategy for the city.
• Deeply understand processes and propose optimization for efficiency.
• Coordinate with field teams, enforce SOPs, evaluate operations, and drive improvements.
• Drive projects to improve bike availability and field maintenance strategies.
• Support control room operations to boost on-ground efficiency.

Role Summary

This person will serve at the Control room of Yulu and be a part of the Monitoring team taking care of the day-to-day operations of the Yulu bikes at the field. They will also come up with a way to implement/strategize new operational processes to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Running day-to-day operations and implementing the strategy for the City Operations.
• Understand every process deeply and implement new processes for optimization and increasing efficiency
• Coordinating & leading with the field team and constantly evaluating the field operations, implementing the standard operating procedures (SOPs), taking corrective actions, and strengthening the position of Yulu
• Drive projects to maximize the quality of bikes available in the field
• Understand repair & maintenance and innovate solutions for the proactive maintenance of bikes on the road.
• Will be part of the control room team to drive operational efficiency on the ground

Key Requirements

• Good communication skills in English (mandatory)
• 1-3 years of experience in managing operations and field staff
• Looking for a smart candidate who can adapt to the changing dynamics on the ground
• E-Commerce, Logistics, and Mobility background preferred.
• Open to work on the night shift and 6-day work.
