Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Securities Operations, Capital Markets Operations, Trade Operations, Middle Office, Back Office or Derivatives Operations.
• Strong understanding of the securities market, particularly Futures & Options and Exchange-Traded Derivatives.
• NISM certification with strong knowledge of securities/capital markets.
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, settlement, trade breaks and regulatory reporting; EMIR/MiFIR experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational processes across back-office, middle-office, reconciliation and exchange-related systems, ensuring successful EOD and SOD activities.
• Perform trade, position and transaction reconciliations and investigate and resolve T+1 breaks across exchanges, brokers, clients and internal booking systems.
• Coordinate with global operations, clearers, vendors, clients and trading platforms to resolve operational issues within defined timelines.
• Support regulatory reporting activities, including reconciliation of MiFID and EMIR transactions and validation of regulatory reporting submissions.
• Perform exchange fee reconciliations and support continuous improvement of operational processes as required.

Operations Analyst Securities & Capital Markets – 7+ Years - Kolkata

Summary –
We are looking for an experienced Operations Analyst with 7–10 years of relevant experience in Securities Operations, Capital Markets Operations, Trade Operations or Derivatives Operations. The role will involve clearing and settlement activities, trade reconciliation, regulatory reporting, position checks and resolution of operational breaks. Strong securities market knowledge and NISM certification are key requirements for this position.

Our client is a global financial services organisation with an established presence in listed derivatives clearing and international capital markets operations. The Kolkata entity supports global operations and works closely with teams across international markets.

Responsibilities -
