Job summary

Crescendo Global in Kolkata seeks an Operations Analyst to support Clearing & Settlements by performing daily checks, trade-flow monitoring, reconciliations and regulatory reporting across global listed derivatives markets. Based in Kolkata, you will coordinate with back-office and front-office teams, ensure timely processing, and contribute to process improvements.

Strong Excel skills and the ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in clearing & settlements and derivatives operations.
• Strong reconciliation capabilities including breaks.

Operations Analyst Clearing & Settlements

Summary

Support the Clearing & Settlements function by performing daily operational checks, trade-flow monitoring, reconciliations and regulatory reporting activities across global listed derivatives markets.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor back-office, middle-office, reconciliation and exchange systems and ensure daily processes are completed successfully.
2. Perform SOD position checks, monitor trade flows and resolve breaks between front-end platforms, client systems and trading platforms.
3. Execute T+1 reconciliations across exchanges, third-party brokers and internal booking systems and rectify operational breaks.
4. Coordinate with global operations, clients, clearers and vendors to resolve outstanding issues within required timelines.
5. Perform exchange-fee reconciliations and monitor successful submission of MiFID/MiFIR and EMIR regulatory reports.

Requirements

1. Experience in clearing & settlements, trade operations, derivatives operations, middle office or back-office operations.
2. Strong reconciliation capabilities, including experience handling trade, position or transaction breaks.
3. Experience with regulatory reporting, preferably EMIR/MiFIR submissions.
4. Good understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives, Futures & Options and financial-market operations.
5. Moderate to advanced Excel skills, strong communication, analytical ability and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
