Job summary

Kiya.ai is seeking an Operational Risk & Controls Analyst to support the implementation and monitoring of risk controls across banking operations in a hybrid setting. You will conduct control assessments, track remediation actions, support audits, and collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to strengthen the control environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of control frameworks, experience in control testing, and familiarity with Transaction Banking, Cash

Qualifications

• experience in Operational Risk, Operational Controls, Business Controls, Internal Controls, Risk & Control, or Banking Operations
• Understanding of operational risk and control frameworks
• Experience in control testing, control assessment, or compliance monitoring
• Exposure to audit findings, issue tracking, and remediation
• Good understanding of banking/financial services processes
• Knowledge of Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Capital Markets is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational controls as per defined SLAs and control requirements.
• Conduct periodic control assessments across various processes.
• Identify and report control gaps, exceptions, and non-compliance.
• Track corrective and remediation actions until closure.
• Monitor operational incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Coordinate and track internal/external audit findings and recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain control and risk-related reports.
• Support monitoring of the overall control environment and highlight key risk areas.
• Coordinate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other business stakeholders.
• Work closely with second-line risk and control teams.
• Ensure procedures and group control requirements are implemented appropriately.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of controls, findings, incidents, and remediation activities.
• Support risk awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.
