Job summary

Tekskills in Bengaluru is seeking an Embedded C professional with 6–12 years of experience to work on motor control firmware for power electronics applications.

The candidate will operate on ARM Cortex-M/A based microcontrollers, RTOS, and firmware for BLDC/PMSM/Induction motors and inverters, with hardware debugging using scopes and probes. Strong knowledge of FOC and 6-step methods is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Embedded C and RTOS.
• Experience tuning parameters for motor control algorithms.
• Hands-on work with ARM Cortex-M/A microcontrollers.
• Experience in motor controller firmware for BLDC/PMSM/Induction motors/inverters.
• Exposure to power electronics hardware testing with measurement tools.
• Knowledge of FOC and 6-step commutation methods.
• Experience with stepper motor control.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modelling for power electronics applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for motor controller firmware.
• Tune motor control parameters and algorithms.
• Work with ARM Cortex-M/A MCUs for firmware implementation.
• Develop firmware for BLDC/PMSM/Induction motors and inverters.
• Debug hardware using oscilloscopes and current probes.
• Implement FOC and 6-step commutation techniques.
• Integrate stepper motor control features.
• Model power electronics using MATLAB/Simulink.

• Embedded C and RTOS
